Meet the Experts: Frank Fitzpatrick
Frank Fitzpatrick joined the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner's Department in 1974 as a Criminalist after graduating the University of California. In 1989, Mr. Fitzpatrick was appointed to the position of Director of Forensic Science Services where he was responsible for the executive management of the county's criminalistics, identification, DNA and toxicology laboratories. He retired in 2004 after 30 years of service. He now consults in the areas of quality systems, ISO 17020 and 17025 implementation, project management, organizational development, strategic planning and has served as acting director for crime laboratories in need of transition.
